Cotabato City – The Cotabato City Government was honored as the Best Employer during the PhilHealth Rawaten 2025 Awards, recognizing its exemplary management, dedication, and compassion toward the welfare of its employees and constituents.

The award was received by OIC City Health Officer Dr. Harris Ali, representing Mayor Mohammad Ali “Bruce” Matabalao, during the ceremony organized by PhilHealth.

Mayor Matabalao expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing that the award is a reflection of the hard work and devotion of the city government employees who serve the Cotabateños with integrity and compassion every day.

“This is the story of our public servants who continue to serve even in the face of challenges — those who quietly extend help with sincerity and believe that true leadership begins with genuine care,” said Mayor Matabalao.

He further highlighted that the award symbolizes stories of hope — from mothers who now have renewed optimism for their children, to fathers and elders who experience comfort through accessible health assistance.

Mayor Matabalao also thanked PhilHealth for being a steadfast partner of the city government in providing essential health services that bring hope and assurance to the people in times of need.

The mayor dedicated the award to all city government employees, health workers, and every Cotabateño who continues to inspire their commitment to public service.

“On behalf of the Para sa Lahat Administration, we humbly accept this award with gratitude and a stronger resolve to continue serving our people with dedication and compassion,” Mayor Matabalao affirmed.
