COTABATO CITY – In a show of solidarity and compassion, the Philippine Red Cross – Maguindanao Chapter spearheaded the “Walk for Humanity” on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, bringing together volunteers, students, civic groups, and government employees for a cause that champions humanitarian values.

The walk began at Cotabato State University (CSU) and concluded at the People’s Palace, where participants gathered for a short program highlighting the Red Cross’ mission of saving lives, alleviating human suffering, and fostering a culture of volunteerism.

Representatives from partner organizations and local government units expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing that humanitarian work transcends boundaries of religion, ethnicity, and social background.

The Walk for Humanity is part of the Philippine Red Cross’ ongoing commitment to promote awareness of humanitarian principles and encourage community involvement in volunteer service, especially in times of crisis and disaster.
