COTABATO CITY – City Vice Mayor Sultan Johair Madag personally visited the Cotabato City Jail to check on the welfare of the inmates and extend assistance to them.

During his visit, the Vice Mayor distributed various sports equipment such as scrabble sets, basketballs, volleyballs, and chess boards to serve as recreational activities that promote camaraderie and positive engagement among the inmates.

In addition to these, he also provided rice and essential goods, which were warmly received by the inmates. Their smiles reflected genuine gratitude and joy for the care and attention given to them.

Vice Mayor Madag expressed his appreciation to Mayor Mohammad Ali “Bruce” C. Matabalao, BARMM READi led by Sir Muhammad Farzieh B. Abutazil, and the Bangsamoro Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” Macacua for their continued support to the people of Cotabato City.

This initiative highlights the city government’s commitment to promoting compassion, rehabilitation, and inclusivity—ensuring that every sector of the community, including persons deprived of liberty, feels supported and valued.
