Various agencies from Cotabato City, along with partner agencies from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), have come together to craft the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan (POPS-Plan) for 2026–2028.

The activity is led by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), with the active participation of:

✅ Cotabato City Police Office (CCPO)
✅ Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)
✅ Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)
✅ Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)
✅ City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO)
✅ Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer (OCSWDO)
✅ City Transportation and Traffic Management Center (CTTMC)

The writeshop centers on concrete strategies to address issues on peace, illegal drugs, and abuse. Also present are Incoming Vice Mayor Johair Madag and Incoming City Councilor Joven Pangilan, who shared their insights and suggestions based on their experience as public servants in Cotabato City.

This POPS-Plan writeshop aims to build a comprehensive and collaborative roadmap for public safety and peace for all Cotabateños.
