Cotabato City — The Bangsamoro Government marked a significant milestone with the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Main Node of the BARMM-Wide Connectivity Project, funded under the Special Development Fund (SDF). This vital infrastructure initiative aims to enhance digital connectivity and government service delivery across the region.

The event gathered key officials from the Bangsamoro Ministry of Science and Technology, BARMM Chief Minister’s Office, City government units, and development partners. The establishment of the main node is the first step toward a high-speed, secure, and inclusive internet backbone linking all Bangsamoro provinces.

The BARMM-Wide Connectivity Project is expected to bridge the digital divide, enhance education and healthcare systems, and promote economic growth throughout the region.
