Cotabato City – It was officially announced this week that the installation of Free WiFi in 37 barangays of Cotabato City will now push through!

Atty. Nes Hashim Biruar Lidasan, representing Mayor for All Mohammad Ali “Bruce” Matabalao, delivered the great news to the City Government.

📍 The project is being led by the Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO) in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG). It follows the successful pilot testing previously conducted at the Cotabato City Plaza.

This initiative is supported by the City Government under the leadership of Mayor Bruce Matabalao, who is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind in this digital age.

The collaboration between BICTO and the Local Government of Cotabato City spanned three years before this initiative came to fruition—an achievement built on perseverance and teamwork toward a more connected Cotabato.

This marks a significant step toward a more modern, accessible, and inclusive public service for every Cotabateño.
