COTABATO CITY — In coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), the City Government of Cotabato conducted a clean-up drive in several major public areas across the city.
The BFP led the “flushing” operations, using high-pressure water to clean the City Plaza of Cotabato, Mega Market, and the City Arcade (Old Market). Meanwhile, employees from the City Government took part in clearing and cleaning operations along several main roads.
The initiative also involved the active participation of all 37 barangays and the Marine Battalion Landing Team-6 (MBLT-6), under the overall supervision of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).
This citywide effort reflects the continuing commitment of the Cotabato City Government to maintain cleanliness, public order, and a healthy environment for all residents — a testament to its collective advocacy of shared responsibility and community discipline.
