Cotabato City – The Bangsamoro Government formally launched the Bangsamoro Pantawid Pasada Program 2025 on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC). The program is designed to provide fuel subsidies to qualified public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and operators across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The initiative seeks to ease the financial burden brought by fluctuating fuel prices, ensuring continuous and affordable transport services for commuters while supporting the livelihood of transport sector workers.
During the launching ceremony, BARMM officials emphasized that the Pantawid Pasada Program reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive support for grassroots sectors, particularly those whose daily income is directly affected by fuel costs.
Through this subsidy program, the Bangsamoro Government aims to strengthen its partnership with transport groups, local government units, and national agencies in addressing economic challenges while ensuring that essential services remain accessible to the public.
The Bangsamoro Pantawid Pasada Program 2025 is part of the broader social protection initiatives of the BARMM, reaffirming its dedication to uplifting communities and building a more resilient and people- centered regional economy.
