Cotabato City, May 30, 2025 — Laughter, learning, and community spirit filled the Children’s Park as the Bajao Learning Tutorial Camp 2025 officially culminated in a heartwarming program attended by local leaders, partner agencies, and the Bajao community.
Now on its third year, the Bajao Learning Tutorial Camp is spearheaded by Kutawato Greenland Initiatives, Inc. (KGI) with the support of various government offices and youth organizations. This year, 35 Bajao children and youth successfully completed the summer learning sessions focusing on basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills, geared to help prepare them for formal education and active community participation.
One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of school supplies, hygiene kits, and food packs:
• 40 hygiene kits and 40 food packs from the BARMM Project TABANG
• 150 Jollibee meals generously provided by the Office of the City Mayor, with the support of the City Administrator’s Office and the CSWDO.
• 50 school bags donated by the Office of Board Member Michael Datu Mike Abas Kida
