COTABATO CITY – Mayor Bruce Matabalao, fondly called is pleased to announce that the first-ever Agriculture Center of Cotabato City, located in Barangay Rosary Heights 10, is nearing completion.
The mayor shared that for the longest time, employees of the City Agriculturist Office have been cramped in a small space at the People’s Palace. Now, with just a few pieces of equipment left to be installed, the facility will soon be fully operational — ready to serve both employees and the people of Cotabato City.
The building features a spacious training center on the second floor, which will be used for seminars and training sessions. There is also a prayer room available for those who wish to pray, so they no longer have to go far to find a quiet place for worship.
Also nearing completion is the new two-story Archive Building of the city. This facility will house official documents, accessible to various departments.
This Archive Building will play a crucial role in ensuring that all city documents are properly stored and well-preserved. It will help prevent damage, loss, or misplacement of important files, which was a concern in the past due to the lack of a proper facility for document safekeeping.
