Cebu City – Cooperative leaders and representatives from Cotabato City proudly joined the 12th National Conference for Cooperative Development, held from September 3–5, 2025, at the prestigious Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Lahug, Cebu.

With the theme “New Coop Era: Transformation into Autonomous, Responsive, and Resilient Cooperatives,” the three-day conference brought together cooperative leaders, government partners, and development advocates nationwide to discuss emerging policies, best practices, and innovations aimed at strengthening the cooperative sector.

The participation of Cotabato City representatives underscores the city’s continuing commitment to supporting the growth of strong, self-reliant, and people-centered cooperatives recognizing them as vital drivers of inclusive economic growth and social progress.

The Cotabato City Cooperative Office aims to bring home fresh insights and strategies from the conference to further enhance local cooperative development, ensuring that the city’s cooperatives remain resilient, responsive, and relevant to the needs of their members and communities.
