The vibrant fluvial parade commemorates the 16th-century arrival of Shariff Mohammad Kabunsuan and the spread of Islam in mainland Bangsamoro.
Speaking under the theme “Colors of Guinakit: Honoring the Past, Navigating the Future,” Chief Minister Ebrahim said, “This festival reflects the strength of our ancestors, the richness of our culture, and the aspirations woven into our collective spirit. It invites us to honor our roots, recognize our struggles, and celebrate our dreams for a brighter future.
