The Office of the City Agriculturist under the leadership of Myra Aisah Abas Pendaliday is now propagating rice varieties tolerant to drought and flooding from PhilRice.

This is one of the components of Climate-Smart Farmer Field School (CSFFS) Training Program implemented by CRC Project. The goal of CSFFS is to make the small-scale rice farmers in Cotabato City resilient to climate change. Twenty-five (25) farmers and five (5) field technicians are currently taking the 18-week training every Wednesday starting last August 14.
